Christopher Chijiutomi, Managing Director and Head of Africa at British International Investment, also stands out for his work in fostering global investment.

Healthcare leaders feature prominently, with Prof Bola Owolabi, Director of Healthcare Inequalities at NHS England, Patrick Nyarumbu MBE - Deputy CEO, Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust and Dr Chike Ify Okocha - CEO, Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust, championing equitable and accessible healthcare solutions. Their work underscores the critical role African professionals play in addressing systemic challenges in the sector.


The creative industries are equally well represented, with figures such as Vanessa Kingori OBE, Managing Director for Technology, Media, and Telecoms at Google UK, and June Sarpong OBE, founder of Diversify Work, driving conversations around inclusion and innovation. Fungai Ndemera, CEO of CheckUp Health, bridges the worlds of healthcare and technology, showcasing how African entrepreneurs continue to redefine traditional industries.


The legal profession is not left behind, with trailblazers like Grace Ononiwu CBE, Director of Legal Services at the Crown Prosecution Service, Harold Brako - Partner, Addleshaw Goddard and Joshua Siaw MBE, Partner at White & Case, making their mark. Engineering and technology are represented by individuals such as Yewande Akinola MBE, Vice President at the Institution of Engineering and Technology, Kai Ojo - CEO, Planisware UK&I, and Dr Ollie Folayan MBE, Co-Founder of AFBE-UK Scotland, who are advancing innovation and inclusion in their respective fields.
